"Stopped to see the alligators and it did not disappoint. We went for a 10 minute walk and lost count how many we saw. Very cool. Only down sides: lots of garbage in the waters and be careful where you walk, lots of fire any nests."
"Nice resort to stay at with good food at the restaurant. The marina is next door but it's very overpriced on tackle"
"We love this park for camping! It is always clean and so do quiet! It's only 45 minutes from home. We have been camping here since the late 1980's. Finally got our RV when I retired in 2020. Nothing more relaxing than camping!!!"
"Loved the room and staff in lodge. Would absolutely be a 5, but was not informed upon booking that the pool was down, no boats would be available for rent due to the maintenance not being complete and we could not get help at the Off Road Course area. Beautiful place, just wish the other amenities were available. Left Vaca early."
"Booking was very easy, price for camping very reasonable, the ladies who checked us in were very friendly, the campground was well maintained, there was lots of wood around for firewood, the bathrooms were clean and well maintained (and had an AC/heater!), the showers looked a little dirty but weren’t bad. It wasn’t crowded - it was peaceful and pretty. The park ranger routinely drove around to make sure things were all good. They were doing a controlled burn so there was a lot of smoke, especially the first night we stayed there. It made for some fun photos though. It was really dark at night and we could see a lot of stars - very pretty!"
