"This is the second Pep Boys I've been to this month to get my tires rotated. I made this appointment a week out for 8am. Upon arrival, I was told by the employee at the counter that though they open at 7am, their "oil and tire guys" don't come in till 9am. When I said I'd wait for that, he told me even if I waited they wouldn't get to me then because they had 2 vehicles from the day before they didn't get to. He wasn't even sure if they'd get to me today, even though I had an appointment booked. This is the worst tire company I've come across, and their customer service is awful. If I could give 0 or negative stars, I would. I will NEVER use Pep Boys again. This is my review from their Monroe St. location: Made an appointment for 10am two days prior for a tire rotation. Arrived 10 minutes early was told there would be a 4-5 hour wait before they could even get to my vehicle because they had three vehicles from the prior day they did not finish. Left and will not be back."

"Honest, fast, and customer-oriented. I had recently purchased a used car and suspected the battery was dead, as I wasn't able to start the car after a week. Got it over to this location - they took me in right away, tested the battery for free, and confirmed that it needed to be replaced. They did not have the battery at the shop, so Deandre made a quick call to their warehouse and the battery was there in 5 minutes! Deandre and Devontavius had me in and out of the shop in 30 minutes! Awesome customer service, and no pressure for unnecessary services like other chains out there. If you're looking for mechanics who know their stuff and put their customers first; look no further. 100% recommend these guys!"

"These are the most honest, hard working, and capable mechanics I’ve ever had. They changed all 4 of our brake pads in a couple of hours during peak time for a reasonable price and our car is braking so smoothly now. I left my cell phone on the counter and accidentally left the store without it - I came back to get it and the front desk man waved me to return my cell phone."
