The extent of our repair would take longer than we had time in the area, so we had to move on to our next location and have our mechanics at our home base work on it. If our circumstances were different, we would have definitely had J&J repair it. John was very polite, informative, and willing to do whatever he could to help us. "BEWARE****LOST 550.00 DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY**** I have a Good Sam Extended Service Plan. I can't file a claim with the ESP because he will not give me an invoice for the work I paid him to do. Without an invoice I can't file a claim, so I have not been able to get reimbursed. I have lost 550.00!!! I chose J&J because he said they work with Good Sam ESP. He gave me an estimate of 500.00 to replace the water heater heating element, awning motor and awning hydraulic arm. Because he said he was a small shop and couldn't afford to purchase the parts out of pocket I paid him 500.00 to purchase the parts and do the job. The job ended up costing a total of 725. He called everything in to Good Sam and the ESP was slated to reimburse me 550.00. He said that he would need to put everything together as he didn't have the invoice for the parts with him and he would email me an invoice so I could file my claim. Since 3/3/21 I have made 12 attempts to get an invoice from this business --- Not to mention he lost the front cover for the awning motor, said he'd come back that afternoon with a replacement. Never saw him again. Had to purchase a new one, so it cost me another 45.00. The hydraulic arm replacement was done with a rivet that was too large and broke off the first time the awning was retracted (we didn't notice that until we got home from our trip). Will have to pay someone else to fix that."

"Getting ready to pull out to go to our next site, a cable on one of our slides snapped, making it impossible to bring the slide in. No luck getting help from 2 other mobile rv repair companies, but John answered right away. He explained that he had other jobs booked in for the next two days but to text him our location and he would do his best to squeeze us in. And he kept his word. He came and was able to fix it so we could get the the slide in. He encouraged us to get the other cables looked at and even possibly replaced when we got to our final destination. He was very kind, honest and helpful. He explained how the cable system worked and what caused the one to snap. In these times you don't often find repair people who arent out to get as much money out of you as they can, especially in a business where you don't live where the service is being provided. That is not John. He was reasonable and fair in his prices. In fact he didn't charge as much as he could have. We would recommend him highly. If we could give him 6 stars, definitely would.
