"Had a terrible experience with Covington New & Used Tire. Spent roughly 1200.00 with them including new brakes. We drove the car 10 minutes home to find the emergency brake is showing and acting as if it’s engaged making the car not drivable and it has not moved since. After they gave my husband the run around for a week they then stop answering his calls, I called and talked to the owner Brandon who we had been working with. At the end of the call I asked for his name and he said Seth. After he did not follow through with what he said in that phone call I went to the shop to speak with him to which he admitted lying about his name on the phone. If the owner of a shop is lying about his name to cover himself, imagine what else he lies about to paying customers. We will happily be taking it to a new shop to have it fixed. As you can see by all the other reviews, the owner comments back to every review playing the victim, insinuating the customer is in the wrong/ lying, the same way he was in person - argumentative, condescending and accusatory. Further proving their lack of customer service skills, which is why I recorded our conversation and will post to other social medias so the public can see what kind of business Brandon is running and will know to stay far away. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Would not recommend."
"Very unprofessional. Lies about services they will provide, doesn’t take ownership when things go wrong, and are aggressive towards FEMALE customers when they’re confronted about their poor service. Lied about their name on the phone and then wanted to backtrack in person and become aggressive and say “I don’t appreciate being called a liar”. They were paid for services and then did not ever come to complete them and said “we are busy and short staffed” if that’s the case then don’t commit to a service and take somebody’s money especially right at Christmas time just to not be able to do it. You will end up with a headache and empty pockets, just go somewhere else."
"I drive by this place everyday on my way to work I decided to stop by because I always see them really busy i was instantly greeted by nice and friendly people. I got new tires and wheels and ended up getting a whole new front end on my Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Brandon and his crew did an amazing job, The alignment drives perfectly straight and they got it done in two days, highly recommend to anybody that’s in the area I went to several other shops locally, and all were rude and unknowledgeable so for anybody that’s in the area, I would recommend Covington New & Used Tires"
"You get what you pay for in the cheapest service around. First things first, if you value your life and the PROPER care for your vehicle, don’t come here. I buy tires every year for the last 4 years and this last visit will be my last time coming here. I got tires installed and first off, the old guy didn’t get the car on the Jack point. If you only know how dangerous this is and what rocker panel damage it can do to your vehicle then you know it will make you cringe. I asked the guy to correct it because the car could fall. He ignored me and before I knew what happened, the other young guy jacked up the other side making the car even more unstable. Second, they were talking amongst themselves talking about beating on the wheel lock. I walked over and simply put it on. Thirdly, the guy dropped the tires in water and never removed the water or dried it out, this is extremely dangerous. Fourth, they never removed the old wheel weights. DO NOT COME HERE. GO AROUND THE CORNER TO TIRE ONE. This is not a set of people you want working on your car. Ever time I ask them to torque the wheels properly, they never have a torque wrench, I have to go home and do it myself. What in the world. That’s Wheel 101. And some of the whee bolts were loose! I’m over this. I’ve found a new tire shop."
