"There is no comparison. It's a totally different experience, High end tools and new technology. The employees are woodworkers themselves and know the trade. What else could you ask for, free coffee? because they have that as well... 5☆"
"Woodcraft has some of the nicest people working for them that you will ever encounter. Christie was especially helpful during some email back-and-forth. I've placed both online orders as well as in-store pickup orders and everything has gone great. I'm pretty sure I have multiple accounts though - some by street address, some by phone number, as the email address account I signed into only showed one old order from 6 years ago (!) It would be nice if all the various orders / accounts could be combined into one. My only complaint is that the online version of the Woodcraft Magazine has a bad e-reader system. Bad enough that I had to ask for a refund as it was unusable. Caveat - I did not use it on a tablet or phone, just on a computer. And by bad, I mean bad for me. So - Full screen or tiny preview, no in-between. In full screen mode you can view facing pages, or just one page at a time. If you choose one page at a time, you won't be able to enlarge it from there. With the width of modern monitors, there isn't any real print-size advantage to viewing one page, or two at a time. The bottom line is the combination of the size of your monitor and the limitations of the Woodcraft Magazine viewer is going to mean that you can't effectively enlarge beyond that, unless you click to view individual images of pages, in a new browser tab. Really, trying to duplicate the metaphor of turning pages seem archaic. It looks good, but isn't that usable as it limits zoom level. A vertical scroll of the pages, like ANY OTHER DOCUMENT that you would view on your computer would be a nice option. I get that Woodcraft Magazine may be using this e-reader as a primitive DRM system, but it is clunky and weird that they don't let you just scroll the pages, at least as an option."
"Amazing place my favorite place to go. I could and have spent hours in that store (My kids hate going there...lol) the store is very clean the staff are outstanding the price are bit bit high on something but I am fine with that because the quality and selection more than makes up for it. With that being said you can and I have went in and came out with amazing deals. There wood selection I awesome and so is the rest of the store. If your are into Woodworking there is no better place in my opinion to shop. A++"
"This place is a joke. I ordered a belt grinder a week ago. Still no tracking number. No shipping info. I don’t even think they have shipped it. I’ve emailed the 3 times and all I get are auto responses telling me that they are to busy to respond to my email. I finally had to order the belt grinder from a different company because I can’t wait any longer not even knowing if it’s even been shipped. If you can’t service your customers close the doors and stop advertising!!!"
"Would give it no stars. Bought a set of Woodcraft brand plans cannot finish the project because the components are not available as prescribed in the plans. $200 invested in wood and parts, project is 95% done and cannot be easily deconstructed without ruining bought and paid for parts as well as the project itself. Project cannot be complete without major redesign. Tech support couldn't even find the plans I was referencing when I called Said he would call me back, I had to call a second time to follow up. No further questions about the plans, not sure if he ever found them. Go the convenient excuse that he was just getting ready to call me back. Only solution provided was a $12 credit for the plans. Really..............If Woodcraft is going to sell plans then they need to ensure their accuracy. Clearly not a company that stands behind their branded products."
