"Got here 15 minutes after it opened and half the food we ordered “wasn’t ready” and we were not given the option to order it at all. Took 20 minutes to get a pre-packaged PBJ and a burger to us with only us and one other small group in the restaurant. Food was mediocre and expensive."
"Nice cafe. Pretty slow service though. Grilled chicken sandwich and cheese pizza were good and nice size. Portabella sandwich was pretty small and cold... would be nice if it was warm."
"It is overpriced and not good. A burger, fries and drink is $20. They don't even give refills with the drink. The burger just was not good, the fries were ok due to the salt contents. It took like 20 minutes to get my food too. I had low expectations given that it was at a zoo but it was worse than that."
"They were understaffed for the lunch rush but the food was pretty good. They use fresh local buns and this is the veggie burger pictured. The fries portion is very generous and they have a sauce bar with every sauce you might want. My family tried the chicken sandwiches and mushroom sandwich and it was a perfectly good lunch at the zoo."
"I ate here once before in the off season and had a pretty good lunch. Today is peak season, but we waited over 30 minutes for three common menu items. The ordering system was completely messed up. People who ordered after us were getting text messages that their order was ready, and when I vocalized concern to the woman working the counter, she was dismissive and rude. Sought out the manager, who said we should have been notified earlier that our food was ready and sitting there. We were not. This place is understaffed and has a huge backlog of food that they are not giving to customers. Eat someplace else."
