"This park was a great surprise. Having an outdoor covered roller rink is pretty incredible. The bathrooms are usually very clean, the rink is well maintained, and the proximity to the trail is perfect."
"I took my children skating and there are no lights in the pavilion, the absence of lights is very bad, as well as being dangerous for them to use drugs or any type of illicit activity within the park. I would like there to be light so that everyone can enjoy the public place. It doesn't make sense to be in a public place without lights."
"It's more of a parking lot for the trail. A small skate park, restrooms and a covered roller ring. It's a good point to park your car and bike towards Big Creek Park in Roswell."
"To speak of the park itself - it's nice; there is plenty of parking (at least when I went later in the morning on a Saturday), there's a neat decorative little skatepark and the entrance to the massive Greenway trail it connects to is marked well so it's easy to find. Truthfully, I wish the paint in the lot was the same. The only reason parking spots are even somewhat manageable to find is the multicolored paint they're marked with, but it's very faded including the handicap spots, so please be very careful. As for the Big Creek Greenway hike itself that I came for, it was very enjoyable. The trail is beautiful, well-maintained, and (as I said) well marked. There are many levels of terrain so it's a good overall workout. While the trails are nothing like you'd find outside the city, if you don't mind a naturally inspired urban walk, this will easily satisfy. There are many bikers on the path who all rode very safely and considerately, but if you're wearing headphones while you walk still be sure to check around you regularly. If the Silver Comet Trail is too crowded, this walk can effectively substitute. I'm truly grateful to see this picturesque side of Alpharetta."
