"We recently got married at the Northwoods Pavilion. We had a small wedding ceremony of about 30 people and a reception with just under 100. Abigail was our event coordinator. She was wonderful to work with and very responsive and informative throughout the entire process. The venue and surrounding areas are beautiful. Even though it is a public park, the pavilion is tucked away where you have enough privacy. It was very affordable and would highly recommend this place for any type of event!"
"We had our wedding here at the end of September and it could not have been more perfect! We used Austin Lane for the ceremony which provided an intimate, secluded venue and the tree cover provided enough shade to keep it a comfortable temperature. This was followed by a cocktail hour in the lower meadow/sun porch and a reception in the North Woods Pavilion, both of which easily accommodated our 100+ guests. There is plenty of "behind the scenes" space for pre-event staging that we were able to use as well. The outdoor setting is so idyllic and pristine that we were able to use very simple decorations and let the nature be the focus. Our guests were raving about how beautiful it was. The elegant, glass-encased pavilion allowed us to have an indoor reception while still enjoying the wooded scenery. For the price, I don't think there is a better wedding venue in metro Atlanta. Abigail, the events manager, is extremely helpful and easy to work with. She kept us well informed throughout the whole process and everything ran smoothly. If you want a gorgeous, outdoor wedding on a DIY budget, while supporting a great local non-profit, this venue cannot be beat!!!"
"Gorgeous nature trails with lovely views and wildlife. It's a dog friendly center and a great way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend for a peaceful day with nature."
"I searched for a playground that was surrounded by nature and I found one here! It's tucked well within the wooded area. There are swings and other equipment and a cool little piano for anyone to use. There are also trails and a cool sitting area."
"We LOVE this place! There is a playground but also TONS of natural space for kids to climb, crawl, and explore! We love the trails and throwing rocks in the creek. We just completed Mommy & Me Nature Class with Mrs. Laura and that was amazing!! My 2.5 year old learned so much β and so did I!"
