Reviews of Marietta Pizza Co.
"We used to order from MPC all the time and it was awesome. We started to see a decline in quality and stopped ordering from them for a while. Tonight we decided to give MPC another try with high hopes and how disappointed we are ! We threw out a whole pizza! See the pictures and the wing in the picture to show the quality of the wings they are using. The amount of grease even on a cheese pizza was ridiculous."
"My recent trip to Marietta Pizza Company was quite enjoyable. The staff were friendly and the restaurant itself is large with plenty of seating, a bar, and small arcade. We ordered a small pizza with half Hawaiian and half the Works. The pizza was how I prefer it being very cheesy but more importantly not overcooked. There was also a generous amount of toppings on the pizza. The atmosphere of the place was a little dated but overall this is a great place to take your kids."
"Healthy beer selection, no complaints there. Loads on draft and bottled or canned. I dig the game room. Its semi-isolated, glassed in so it feels like part of the rest of the restaurant without being a noisy nuisance. More games and fewer prize machines would be an improvement. I played the deer hunting game and for a few dollars it went on for a while. I got 10 minutes of play, way beyond a normal arcade. Pizza waaaaay overpriced. Its good pizza, but 30 bucks for a pizza needs to be good enough that I would come back just for the pizza, and its not that good. I got the Works, which listed X-tra cheese as a topping, and there was not much cheese. If you can see the sauce around the edges of the pizza, its not X-tra cheese. I like that there are lots of windows and plenty of natural light. There’s not much character on the main dining floor. The walls are most bare maroon with a handful of movie posters. For the size of the space, the TVs could be quite a bit bigger, and play something other than the local news. Sports, or because it is a family oriented place, cartoons would be great. Something that plays well with no sound."
"First time at this location. Went during the week and it was not crowded. You seat yourself. Picked our table and the waitress came out shortly after and gave us menus. Plenty options to choose from. Our pizza was good and hot. Good family atmosphere. I do recommend and I'll come back."
"Saddest order of $17 wings I’ve ever had. We recently moved to the area and were craving pizza for dinner but wanted something better than Domino’s. We ordered for the first time. Wings and fries, a side salad, and a pizza. The app said 60 minutes for a pick up, which, on a Sunday evening seemed excessively long. Regardless, I placed the order. The confirmation email arrived and gave a shorter time (45 min) so we headed out. The order was just being finished as we pulled in. The restaurant was mostly empty. My wings were lemon pepper and hot sauce mixed together but they did half and half, which was fine, not a big deal. The fries were missing but then I saw in the email it was correct. I assumed I selected wrong but, for wings priced that high I wanted fries since I had veggies at home. I took a bite as we were leaving the parking lot only to discover they were not hot or fresh. The side salad seemed to have very little lettuce. The pizza we got for our boys was undercooked and bland, with the toppings being scantly placed. Overall, I was really disappointed with the quality of the food. I’m bummed that this will not be our new regular spot like in our old neighborhood."
