"Omgoodness this park is so much fun. It's not really toddler friendly, but for my 4 yr old grandson and 11 yr old daughter it's great"
"Nice space for kids and families to gather. However, the lawn areas around the playground are full of weeds and bees and need to be treated. Also the guardrails on the bridge going to the nature trail needs to be resurfaced. The nature trail area could use some attention as well. This park could be so much nicer, especially with all the new development in the downtown PS area."
"Used To Be a nice park, now ot seems lile there hasnt been a hint of maintenance on the one side for over a year.. homeless/junkie hangout at night.."
"The 4th of July celebration at Powder Springs Park was a pleasant surprise. I didn't know what to expect when my friends invited me but it was very enjoyable. Food vendors, jewelry vendors, crafts for the kids, bounce houses--they had lots for everyone. The amphitheater made a nice addition too, where performers sang, danced and simply strutted their stuff. The last band was real good, playing old school R&B and funk I could sing to. Lastly, the encore of the evening--the fireworks--were on point. The fireworks show was excellent and combined with the music selection, warmed my heart and made me proud to be an American. It didn't hurt that July 4th is also my birthday. It was hard not to see the fireworks as put on for my own personal enjoyment. I will definitely check out the Park for other events they may have throughout the year."
"It's not a big park, but the kids enjoyed it. No one was there when we went on a Sunday afternoon so it was nice and quiet to us."
