"We went there for the Lake Allatoona cleanup. It's awesome what they do for conservation and cleaning up the environment. The place is looking a bit run down, in need of upkeep. A trail bridge washed out, several picnic areas in disrepair with the seats completely rotted away. Though, I'm sure they're doing what they can with the funds and volunteers they have a available."

"This is my favorite place to take my kids! I came when I was a kid, different owners now and much better maintained which makes it so much better. My kids love swimming, fishing, canoeing, and seeing all of the baby frogs and nature that we don’t get enough of these days. Just watch your step going to the bathrooms! Last weekend was the first time we went when the bathrooms were locked, probably accidentally but there was a huge snake against the wall by the doors and I almost stepped on it. I guess I need to be watching more myself!"

"This place is wonderful. There are bathrooms and showers. When my husband and i go we do a little volunteer work by cleaning the bathrooms. We try to leave the place better by doing this. Very quiet and relaxing."

"Great Campground on Lake Allatoona! Has bathrooms and showers. Primitive camping with Adirondacks, the Center also has a lodge for events. Cub scouts really enjoyed it!"
