"I have been using the above-mentioned dealership (Crown CDJ of Cleveland) for several years. I have been happy with the overall dealer- they have been fair to me. Sure they make money- but fair money- I came in on the lower end of purchase price on several vehicles after some deep internet research. I have until recently found the service department fair. Thye did the job adequately but not rave worthy. That has changed. Well there is a service advisor there now who is among the best I have encountered across several dealerships of different types. Jake Cansler is far and away outstanding. So what exactly does that mean: He cares, he communicates, he does not overpromise, he sets realistic expectations and works for the customer. They need more like him and I hope the Service Manager and GM are reading this. There has been some recycling of service advisors there. I really didn't miss a few. This one I would miss and would prove to me its a management issue if he leaves. Take care of this one- I know the workforce is slim right now but you found a good one! This review is not written because I had an oil change that went well. I had a difficult diagnostic nightmare that spanned over 6 weeks. They had to get the illustrious engineers involved who effectively punted back to the mechanic to figure it out. There are two mechanics named Tim at this location but the Tim who worked on my truck was awesome and fought to find the fix. This is not to say I have a piece of junk truck either. Its just fully loaded and occasionally some crazy random electrical thing will make everyone say bad words. The worse thing to track is the nightmare "intermittent electrical issue." If you have an issue go see Jake- Just not when I need him please."
