"I had an appointment for a Wednesday morning to verify what I said was wrong with my daughter's car was correct. I had the car towed on Tuesday (the day before my appointment) so it would be available to the service technician. Drove by Wednesday after work. They never looked at the car but promised to do it first thing Thursday morning. I drove by Friday after work and they still have not looked at the car. I drove by Monday after work and spoke with Jim, the service manager, and he said that the car just arrived this past Friday. I had him look it up in the computer to see that it had actually been there since last Tuesday. I was told that my technician was in school and would not be able to look at it until he was back (which would be 2 days later). After explaining that the car had been there for almost a week and that it was my daughter's car, and she was about to start college the next week, how important it was to get the car back soon, the car was finally diagnosed. It took another 6 business days to finally get the car fixed. Two days later, the AC went out on the car. This whole time, not one person from Prater Ford called me. I had to actually go to the site to find out what was going on. I was told by Greg that he was not my service representative, a younger man was. I've had this car fixed at Prater Ford in the past, and had no issues. The service department has significantly gone downhill in the past couple of years. I recommend going to Courtesey Ford in Rome before going here."

"Took my 2016 F-150 here 2 weeks ago after I researched the door latch recall, my passenger side door wouldn’t latch. Took it in here and they said they couldn’t service me at the time, how do you not have parts on hand to take care of a safety recall?!? Said they would call and let me know when parts came in and low and behold I haven’t received a phone call Also the service technician wasn’t in uniform, Looked like she just rolled out of bed. No professionalism at this location , nor do they care"

"Stripped out my oil plug, replaced it with a larger plug, then told me it would cost $2000 next oil change to replace my oil pan. Don’t bother with these clowns. Go somewhere else."

Got my vehicle diagnosed; called me when the necessary part came in and put me in a complementary rental car for the time it took to get the labor intensive repair completed. I wholeheartedly recommend the service department at Prater Ford."
