"Took car there to fix the AC. Took the NEW part with me for them to put on. AC never worked correctly, so took it elsewhere..when they removed the new part Dixson installed, it had been broken and wrapped up with black electric tape. Went back and asked Dixson to make it right, was told get a lawyer."
"Took a radiator to them to be flushed cleaned out and checked out for leaks in March of 2020 for my motor home. It stayed with them a week and was called to come and pick it up and was charged $50 and was told it was good to go. Installed it and had multiple leaks. Took it back out and upon closer inspection was partly stopped up with the usual build up that a radiator gets over time. So they basically took my $50 and done nothing to it."
"Charged me $400 to fix an evap core for air conditioner, then sent me home KNOWING it was leaking freon from a line they botched (after keeping my car for a week and a half waiting on the part). They refused to fix the line (told me I needed to have a part welded, which was a lie) even though it was their mistake on the brand new part they just put on. I had to buy a repair kit to fix what they messed up. $15 repair kit and they refused to make it right after taking $400 from me. If you can't stand behind your work, you don't need to be in business. I'll never use them again."
"They charged me $75 for an estimate, and a check engine light came on after leaving. The check engine light wasn't on before. There was grease on hood door handle and inside door. There were also bolts in cup holder that we're never put on.l wouldn't advise using Dixon's."
"Dixon's has been my Go-To shop since the day I got my driver's license. I'm 37 now and still use Dixon's any time need repair to a cooling or air conditioning system. Thankfully I've not had to use them to fix anymore "over confident young boy" misshaps but years ago they fixed many of them I didn't even think we're fixable. I took a radiator in after a teenage bet gone wrong. I was taking it in so he could see which radiator to order me. He said something to the effect of why pay for a new one when I can fix that one for less than half the price. He done great on it. I've heard they are great about warranting their work but I can't personally speak on that. Of all the things I've took him to fix over the years, I've never had an issue with any of their work that required me to take it back. Also my a/c quit on my truck due to advance Auto selling me the wrong part. Long story short advance Auto settled with me on just giving me every single part to put a complete new a/c system on it. So I stopped by Dixon's to see how much to flush it out after the the parts were put on on plus charge the system with freon. They priced it to me. Out of curiosity I asked how much it'd cost to put the parts on too. There was only $50 difference! So they have more than fair prices!"
