"This year alone I have spent many many thousands of dollars and last year even more. Usually your Spencer store will try and price match or at least come close. (I remember you had a sigh that said you were part of the biggest hardware store in the country). Anyhow, after talking to an individual who phones Jason he wouldn't even consider matching or coming close he said it was because it was already at there cost (this I know is untrue because I saw what your cost was). I have dealt with Jason before and he is very unfriendly and doesn't seem to have any idea about hardware or your products. I have always avoided him because of his lack of knowledge. Unfortunately his poor customer service will cause me to drive to Reedy and shop at Terrell's or drive to 84 lumber."

"Corporate review: I was telephoned by Trudy Collins from their accounting/credit dpt without solicitation. She failed to communicate with a store manager & failed to research the financial picture & history THOROUGHLY before calling and speaking pompously to me. Demeaning and insinuating tones, as if I hadn’t proven myself as a good customer to Hardman’s (thousands had been spent in past couple years). Must make her feel good. It turned me completely off. Went and spent $1,800 (with cash) that day at Lowe’s. ALWAYS believed in supporting local and being financially responsible. In the past, 8 out of 10 times, always used Hardman’s - even if prices were higher. From now on, I’ll drive an hour for a bolt as long as it’s not from Hardman’s."

"I reserved their backhoe In Summersville on 9-15-2020 and never received it, so I reserved it on 9-16-2020 and they call me that morning and tell me someone else has it , waisted my time off from work . Now I have to find another rental place ! Thanks for Nothing One star is way too much rating !!"
