"Took quite some time to get a table and none of the staff acknowledged our existence for about 30 minutes. But this place came highly recommended so we waited it out. Now I see why the food here was top notch and well worth the wait. The pricing was great too for how much and how great the food was. Would definitely recommend no matter the wait."
"Stopped by and ordered the reuben egg rolls, chicken wrap with tots, and a Big Timber Porter. Maddie was very friendly and helpful with food suggestions. The egg rolls were amazing and went great with the spicy ranch. The tots with beer cheese pairs great, and the porter was a really good beer. Not local, but I would come back. Hopefully, I will try the buffalo chicken egg rolls."
"East End Pub is a great Charleston restaurant, nestled on Washington St. between Kanawha City and the Capitol building. Their lot offers some parking, with other options for street parking nearby. We ordered carryout on 04/22/23 and our order was ready super quick, only taking about 15 minutes. We got the mini corn dogs and loaded tots as 2 appetizers. For our main dishes, we ordered the Philly steak sandwich and the Queso Crunch burger. -The mini corns dogs were as expected: standard, delicious, a fun snack. -The loaded tots were crispy and had a nice flavor to them. -The Philly sandwich was delicious. It featured a yummy chopped mix of moist steak, mushrooms, and peppers, all served on good bread. I would suggest adding some type of condiment to the sandwich, but that's the only thing I'd change about it. Once I did that at home, it was perfect for me. -The Queso Crunch was a really good burger. The meat was moist, flavor was nice, and the toppings were fun. We got a side of the garlic fries with the burger & OMG THEY ARE *AWESOME*. Such phenomenal garlic flavor. All in all, I would absolutely recommend East End Pub to anyone looking for some good, chill food."
"Yesterday was my first time ordering from East End Pub. We ordered a few different things for take out and the food was ready right on time. We ordered the mini corn dogs, loaded tots, a Queso Crunch burger and a Philly sandwich. The food was all excellent. The tots were perfectly cooked and crunchy with plenty of toppings to add to the flavor, the Queso Crunch burger was juicy and well seasoned, and the corn dogs were great. My girlfriend got the Philly sandwich and the flavor was very good on that as well, but could benefit from some kind of sauce. Overall we were very happy with our order. Next time we go we will definitely be ordering the egg rolls. They were unfortunately sold out by the time we ordered yesterday. The pub itself was a nice, cozy place. Not a ton of seating but seemed perfect for a good neighborhood Pub like this. The bar was nicely back lit and was a nice aesthetic."
"Nondescript little bar that’s nothing fancy, but they serve up some really good food. We’ve been a couple times and both times left happy. Known for their burgers and unique egg roll combinations, tonight we tried the pulled pork bbq egg rolls. They’re always out of the Buffalo ones. Apparently they’re very popular. They were stuffed with slow cooker sweet baby rays style bbq and paired well with the housemade ranch. Pretzel bites went perfectly with the beer cheese which had just the hint of tang. We opted for the hotdogs instead of the burgers. We’ve had the burgers before; they’re great, and worth a try. The hotdogs were ok. All-beef hotdogs and English buns from Kristi Ann’s bakery compliment the meaty chili and chunky coleslaw. We would have enjoyed them more with a different type of frank. They were very “beefy”. Overall a great little hidden gem. Update: Another great dinner at the EEP. This time around we finally got to try the Buffalo Eggrolls, BBQ wings, Sweet Chili wings, and the crispy chicken wrap. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Service was on point as usual. Highly recommend getting the Buffalo Eggrolls. You can get a half order and it still makes enough for a appetizer for 2."
