"They are a bunch of thieves everytime I got there I'm overcharged about $18 then they canceled my order for delivery due to it not being picked up then charged me double the absolute worst place a rip off completely!!!!! Like a bunch of junkies working"
"Good old-fashioned tex mex! It wasn't busy when we went in and the gentleman that served us was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the hard shell tacos and they were exactly what I want when I think about a tex-mex taco: fresh, shredded cheese, saucy beef, and some fresh lettuce for the perfect crunch! It was lunch time and I was able to get out for around 10 bucks a person (an increasingly unlikely deal in today's economy). Give them a try when you're downtown!"
"I remember all the fun experiences I had here as a college student, but given tonight’s experience, Rio Grande on 4th Avenue has gone so far down hill that I wonder why it’s even still open. First, I get there on a Friday night and there is absolutely no one there. That should have been sign #1. However my friends wanted to stay so we did. The chips were stale and fried in stale oil, and the salsa tasted like it came from a can. We ordered a chile con queso and then one of my friends ordered spinach dip. It turns out the spinach dip was just the chile con queso but with spinach on top. Obviously we wouldn’t have gotten the spinach dip if we knew. I ordered the carne asada tacos, and the steak was so minuscule and dry that it was barely edible. Margaritas were strong but good. Honestly they tasted pretty close to what they did in college. It was the one highlight of the meal. The saddest part of the meal was our receipt, which was written on notepad paper. It was just so disappointing. Anyway, I will not be coming back."
"I use to go there in my younger days an it was always so busy, an food was amazing, this time there was no business,1 guy I repeat 1 guy running the show. He was the cook the bartender the waitress the dishwasher an the cashier, that man was amazing great personality great service and the food was amazing it was hot, an the prices were so cheap... I'm just wondering where all the business has gone ..."
"This place isn't too bad... The prices are reasonable and you always get free chips and salsa with your order... My favorite Mexican place to eat but it's not bad either."
