IHOP

"I typically do not leave reviews. However, this time I feel as though I must. This was my first time stopping there, and it will be my last time. I stopped there because of the conveint location,the positive reviews, and the number of hungry bellies that was with me. Upon arriving, we entered, the atmosphere was negative. The staff at the front rolled their eyes as I told them how many in the party. The hostess grabbed the menues for us and proceeded to walk.My fiancé moved toward her, and received a very unkind "Don't Follow Me" He apologized. At which point, she got in his face holding her menues close to her, and berated him. I would not know what the quality of food was. I told them to cancel the table, left, and drove further down the road to the Bridgeport location where we received amazing service and food and they received a really nice tip. I would not recommend the Jane Lew location. I would recommend a dumpster in a back alley somewhere with raccoons before doing so, just because of the service."

"Honestly it needs cleaned. There is potential, however I should not have to fight off gnats while trying to eat my food. The people working are aware of the issue. I just wish they would take care of it."

"This I-Hop is in a little town in West Virginia. According to the server it hasn't been open long, but if you enjoy I-Hop, I recommend going here. West Virginia is gorgeous. It will be even better in the spring, summer and fall. Tiny town, great, great people. Excellent vacation spot."

"Today I decided to try the IHOP in Jane Lew. Not sure if I would follow all of the previous reviews on the restaurant that I have seen online. They have only been open for about a month, but I had no issue with my service at the restaurant, nor on the food as well, I decided to try the country fried steak and eggs with breakfast potatoes. I forgot it came with pancakes, and it was too much to eat. Kathy, my waitress was very pleasant and could not have asked for a more receptive waitress. I hope the success of this IHOP continues in Jane Lew."
