Reviews of Bridge Walk LLC
"What a fantastic experience! From start to finish, this was an amazing day! We were originally scheduled to due the walk in July, but due to an unforeseen injury to one of the girls, it had to be postponed by a few months. They even made that process super easy- a quick phone call to the phenomenal staff and it was rescheduled to September. And boy, was it worth the wait! Larry, our guide for the walk, greeted us warmly, got us checked in, chatted with us about our plans and recommended some things to do. He also took us through the facility and chatted with us about the bridge itself. You can really see and hear the pride in every voice that you encounter and rightfully so. Even today, the bridge is still a testament to ingenuity, engineering, and determination. Larry was so much fun on the walk..he didn't mind that we were acting silly or being loud-he really seemed to revel in the energy and matched it! He pointed out features of the bridge along the way and even threw in some great anecdotal commentary about his experience with the bridge as a young man, growing up nearby. The pace was leisurely, the experience was magnificent and the day was just gorgeous! Would highly recommend-make the trip to see the bridge do the walk, hike the trails, mingle with the locals and see America's newest National Park!"
"Just in the area for a quick weekend getaway, called on the spur of the moment. So glad to discovered them. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Ron our driver was kind enough to drop us off and pick us up to bring us back to the starting point. Even brought water for everyone. Misty our guide took her time to explained everything and had great knowledge of the local area and history of the bridge. Which added to the experience. We never felt rushed and got so much time to explore the bridge stopping the viewing the scenery. Truly was a memorable day."
"My 8 year old daughter and I went on a tour with Kalila and we had a fantastic time. It was a great mixture of walking and enjoying the scenery and moments of her sharing facts and information - perfect amount of each! It’s $75 per person but how many chances do you get in life to walk on the catwalk of a bridge over 800 feet in the air? TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE! It felt incredibly safe and was not scary at all - my 8 year old daughter loved it! 8 years old is the youngest who can go on the tour and must be 48 inches tall but I felt it was extremely kid friendly! Once in a lifetime experience and a must do if ever in West Virginia!"
"It was a great tour even during January. Just bundle up and enjoy the views! Our tour guide Doug was engaging and interactive especially with our kids. You walk only one way and they bus you back to the office which was a welcome surprise. Was a lot of fun and a unique experience"
"Really enjoyed our tour under the bridge! We were fortunate and had amazing weather and beautiful fall colors. The tour itself could have been a few minutes shorter, sometimes I felt they were just talking to take up time. But I’d do it again and highly recommend everyone go! It’s not scary! You are harnessed and there are rails."
