"We were in town for a couple of weeks and ate dinner there every night they were open. The only thing I would have changed is that they would be open every evening. Nice folks serving good food here."
"This is our favorite restaurant around! We have tried so many things here, both the authentic and the americanized selections. They really do everything justice...six visits and counting and we have always had an astounding meal with great service. Our favorites: the chicken soup (try if you want something really authentic, plus it's a meal by itself), Chile rellenos, street tacos, chimichangas, pollo hawaiiano."
"I've been to many Mexican eateries thru the years and this was my first time trying La Finca a few miles west of Spencer, WVA. Service was decent of this Mexican eatery. I had the grilled chicken, orange/yellow rice & corn mix, salad & fries dinner and of that lot, only the yellow rice/corn & french fries were tasty and really good....however, the rest of that meal was awful & tasted like it was washed with detergent and refused to eat more of it. You get tortilla chips & salsa one time around...they were decently good. Hard to get second load of tortilla chips/salsa both though. 2 stars for what could be a potentially good place to eat if they would just make their food more tastier. It's also located quite a bit outside of town too with very limited parking."
"This place has 4.9 stars on the reviews I googled so I wanted to try it. I purchased a no 1 lunch. It was a taco, enchilada and refried beans. I requested a soft corn tortilla since I don't eat flour. The corn tortilla totally fell apart, maybe steamed too long? I ended up putting it on my plate and using a fork. It was good. So was the beef enchilada. The refried beans were good but I wish there had been more of them. It's the smallest portion of beans I've ever been served at any Mexican restaurant and I've eaten in plenty. Also the beans are pureed very smooth if you like that sort of thing. Personally I like a few chunky beans in mine. I wish there had been a small portion of lettuce, pico de Gallo and sour cream on the side too to dress up the plate a bit. Instead each of those items are an extra cost."
"Literally sitting in the parking lot writing this review. Visiting family down here from northern Ohio and we have several good Mexican restaurants around us but I think this is my new favorite. Too bad it’s five hours away. The salsa was amazing. I got the fajita chimichangas and my husband got the fajita burrito. Great food, the flavor was amazing. And service was also excellent."
