"Place was very isolated. Nice rocks with excellent history. Heard a bobcat while down by the big rock overhang by creek"
"Trail was very well marked once you find the beginning. Park in the parking lot then walk back down the road you drove in on a short way, you will see a small sign for the entrance to the path. The path will take you past beautiful rock formations, to a small creek with the most beautiful view and through a lush forest. We hiked for a solid 2 hours. It has some step hills and some rocky parts. I would recommend hiking boots or tennis shoes. We did have to cross a small creek, so without our hiking boots, we would have wet feet, but we were there in April, and it had just rained. Enjoy we sure did!"
"Very beautiful hike and private. Well marked and maintained. You will have to climb over a few trees over the path, have one small water crossing. Took about 1:45min to hike stopping for pictures. Road into trail is steep amd unmarked. Directions for trail on back of sign. Would def. do again absolutely loved it."
"Over grown by green, walked a trail down into a valley to a creek. Didn't see rock formations. Didn't have time to go further."
"A good showcase of sandstone formations that are found throughout this part of the state. The trail is 2.5 miles posted round trip, but I walked 3.7 miles taking everything in. The trail begins through an open field to the north of the parking lot and continues through some planted saplings protected by plastic housing. The trail then descends down into the creek ravine, crossing it, then back up the other side to the first series of ledges. The trail continues to a second and much larger series of ledges and continues beyond to a series of third ledges/boulders, though smaller than the first two. The trail then descends near the creek bed where a deep cut has created some rock formations typical of the area. The trail then slowly winds back to the second series of ledges and from there you backtrack out. I spent around 2 hours here my first time."
