"Poorly run camp! Senior staff out right yelled and berated scouts for simple mistakes in dining hall. Staff language when away from adult leaders would make you think they were hardened sailors. In 2018, we had 14 scouts signed up for wave runners, each paying and additional $50 for that program. Camp only had 2 operating wave runners to support 50 scouts a day in those classes. Staff was not properly prepared and had not all completed Youth Protection Training. After being assured that menu's were peanut allergy free, we had a scout experience a nut allergy. Kitchen staff was annoyed when we asked for ingredient lists for all meals (after the allergy incident). They resisted allowing us to store our own food for the scout in the kitchen refrigerator. The scouts had a blast on the water for the most part, but the staff really turned the experience sour for leaders. I will never take my troop here again."
