"Update: I've learned how to just file them myself. For FREE. Took me all of 10 minutes to figure out. I couldn't imagine ripping a person off for 10 minutes of work, but hey, don't worry about it. It's 10 minutes less of work they have to worry about now. This will be the first and last time I file my taxes through Jackson Hewitt. My family and I decided to try out Jackson Hewitt for the reviews being so high. I'm not quite sure why they are, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it. For my taxes, it costed $115 just to file. That's 20% of what I will even be receiving back. Another family member $200 just for them to have to owe back, and another, a STUDENT in high school $50, just for him to get back a little over $70. That's 67% of what he is to receive back. I WILL NEVER give this company my business again and would most definitely not recommend it to anyone, comparing it to others I've used in the past where I haven't even had to pay nearly HALF of that to get them done. Very unprofessional staff, and just an unwell environment to give my business. I personally never felt welcomed as you would at any business, just pretty much give us your paper work, here's what you owe us, now get out."
