"My sister, who was disabled, used this service because it was close to where she lived. She passed away, and it was a challenge getting all the information from her estate to file the taxes. I was consistently given incorrect information (eg. I asked how much federal taxes she would receive back - i was told around $1,000. The actual amount was $454. I had a challenge making payment because they do not take money via Venmo or bank transfer, and I had to make the payment out of her estate. I was finally able to set up her estate bank account and send a check. I left a message that I would call with the bank account information to send the money to. The accountant filed the tax return and sent the hard copy check to my sisters address - knowing that she no longer lived there because she DIED. It is 6 weeks later. The check was issued on August 16, 2021. It is Sept 13, 2021. I called and was told the "next available appointment to talk to the accountant was Dec 13th". He will not get on the line with me. He has left me to chase the check via the IRA. Work with these people at your own peril."
