"I wouldnt even give this store a star but i had to so i could do my review. First off the manager is very very rude, i asked him a question he answered smart mouth remark then rolled his eyes and walked off to continue his conversation on the sales floor about how terrible his employees are. First news flash your employees are only as good as you teach them to be. Your the leader not them.To the manager lead by example and treat others how you want to be treated.Build your infastructure dont tear it down. He(the manager)began to say this virus is spreading cause these people wont stay home."I wish they would all just go home and stay there." Second NEWS FLASH us customers that dont stay home is who is paying your salary, and dollar general remains open because they are a essential business.Now to talk about the cleanliness of the store horrible again , personal hygiene products looked like they were just knocked off the shelves,piled up in the floor. Stuff was everywhere, empty shelves throughout store, very dirty throughout whole store. Trip Hazards everywhere.I have never seen this store this bad. I was in this store everyday a year ago for several years till i moved away. This was my first time back in it for a year and i will not be making a trip back.i have to add i cant say that its the employees fault as the manager claimed as he talked about them on the sales floor, after all its the managers job to make sure the job is done. Little advise instead of bad mouthing employees to customers for all to hear , you should have been helping clean up by the looks of the store. I wonder just how he treats the employees while noone is in the store."

"My experience at this store was horrible. During the "clearance" special i asked some very simple questions as not everything was marked.The manager was very hostile as i asked questions to make sure of the price before i bought anything as it was stacked with clearance items. I was informed by the manager the item was not on sale. Another employee ✔ the price and the item rang up on" clearance". The sale was an additional 50% off and would not honor it. He then shoved by me in the isle and went about ripping off all signs advertising the sale for that weekend. Refuse to give a name and was not wearing a name tag. He crumpled the sale signs up and refused a picture to me of the sale. I proceeded to another Dollar General in Hamlin Wv where everything was priced correctly and the sale was honored as well as very helpful staff. Would give the Hamlin store as many stars as allowed. This sale was an additional 50% already marked clearance items including gift sets. It ran 2/08/2020 to 2/09/2020. A special weekend clearance."

"The employees are really nice and helpful, but the new manager is not a people person. He is always disrespectful and very unfriendly. Other then the manager it's a well stocked clean store"

"Not enough people running the registers. The people that work at the dollar General near my home. They are all decent people who make people feel welcome. But now you've fired one of the nicest and very helpful workers you have in that area. You've lost a lot of customers."

"Only thing about this place is they need more cashiers lol very busy store. Found what we came for plus some. Friendly People As Well Whenever we're in town this is our go to store. Very Convenient"
