"I had a DVO in place and my ex husband came to where my children and I were staying. I called 911 and while I was on the phone with them he unloaded a gun towards the house we were in. After approximately 45 min to an hour later our sheriff call the house to inform me that he would be unable to make it on scene and told me to contact the county attorney's office and see if they could do something. This is just one incident when I have tried to get help from the sheriff's dept but outcome is always the same.....nothing gets done. My advise would be contact the city or state police."
