"A wonderful blend of common courtesy and old-fashioned timelessness. We actually found MAPS!! Yes, I have a GPS, but when I want to take a back road, it wants to steer me back to a 4-6 lane. No thank you. The man behind the service desk was help-with-a-smile! Made our trip SO much easier!!"

"Welcome center is absolutely beautiful with all trees in bright and vibrant colors, right now. Plus there's plenty of parking, grassy areas for pets and humans. The information center is filled with plenty of brochures for all the many tourist attractions, state parks and the New River Gorge National Park on the New River. Along with other recommendations for places to dine and the abundance of hotels and motels in West Virginia."

"It does have nice well maintained grass area with pic nick tables. And a welcome center but the bathrooms at least the ladies is dirty and rundown which makes it pretty gross!"

"Great rest area! Clean, handicapped accessible buildings, a few vending machines, one even had coffee but was out of order. There is also still a working pay phone here, so if you need one, bring a quarter! Nice grounds and picnic tables, good for a quick stop."

"Beautiful outside area. The women's restroom, however, needed a lot of attention. Missing doors on the stalls. Stalls that don't lock. Barely any toilet paper. The water is a nice warm temperature."
