"Brand new pool opened this year. Brand new “bathhouse” with lockers. New pickle all court and tennis too. It’s like this has been here all along; the aesthetic value is priceless for all surrounding communities. $6 daily adult admission, $3 after 4pm. Friendly yet firm lifeguards make the pool great for ALL. The recreation offices were moved here as well. Friendly staff at desk as you come in. I have a pool 5 min from me BUT I choose to come here due to the all new facilities. My only compliment and it’s just one, is for an employee to clean the bathrooms just once during pool hours. I know they clean prior to opening and closing but they need just mopped once during pool hours. I’m so glad some previous employees never returned because they were terrible. The regular lounge chairs are perfect without arms. The plastic pool ones are a nice Elitist touch for a community public pool. People complain over admission but raising it keeps the bad eggs out! They are a one and done and move along anyway. I do not have to worry about sketchy clientele coming here and touching my stuff. Nitro police frequents the streets also and sometimes patrols to keep area feeling safe. This is a great public pool option that is consistent. That is what I look for. They ALWAYs have Gino’s pizza $2 each for sale too. The parking in front of building is very limited but there is a large lot to park in that always has spaces and a nice sidewalk to cross onto."

"Very nice pool, just wish it was bigger! They renovated it to make it a small pool! The deepest it goes is 6 months. Very good pool for younger children though. They even have life vests you can use!"

"Food is pricey and you have to pay $6 for each person. Other then that kids will have fun. We was there from open to close."
