"Only in government could people be as disinterested and relaxed in protocol at the gate and the visitor control center and yet still keep a job. My daughter has day care here and I'm constantly taken off the access list and use 30 mins of my day to be re-added, routinely. The security protocols are woeful at best. They allow you to drive on to the base to turn around with a clear road in front of you if you are denied entry."
