"They did ok through the case and appeared to be beasts in the courtroom. Until..... they wanted an additional 10k over what was initially agreed to to finish trial in a very high profile case. At the point they knew no more money was coming, they conned my BF into taking a plea that they were adamant it would put him to see parole in 5 years. We took it under those circumstances. Well, 5 months later when we get the time sheet, it shows 10 years to see parole. Apparently this was a statue they somehow weren't aware of and asked if we wanted to file a habeas corpus.
