Der Dog Haus

"Not to the restaurants fault, but they had to change the brand of hotdogs they normally serve. The hot dogs were pretty bad, luck warm and a Vienna sausage texture. We did tell our server, who gladly removed them from our bill, as they only had 1 bite missing. The service was great, and my mom's bratwurst was perfect! It's a local staple and we will return, however we will make sure they are able to get their original brand of dogs!"

"This is a nice local diner with good food. I had a turkey bacon club on wheat, and I was not disappointed. The service was fast and friendly as well. If you're visiting Parkersburg and you need some lunch, this is a great place to get a meal. All four of us were pleased with our food and service. Thanks, Der Dog Haus!!!"

"Where do I start…local antique store recommendation when we asked about great local lunch place. Der Dog Haus did not disappoint. The parking lot is always a good indication and it was packed on a Wednesday afternoon. Unbelievably friendly staff and customers. We felt like regulars. Great meal, generous portions. Even gave me a sample of the lunch special to help me decide. We will go out of our way to stop again."

"Exclusive quick dinner choice. The staff were friendly and very attentive! Lots of variety on the menu. I enjoyed the 2 dogs with sauce, cheese, & slaw. Beer battered fries good and were nice a pairing. Definitely beats Sonic any day of the week! They had shirts for purchase and a large selection of locally made potatoe chips. You can play the lottery too! Very busy place, but worth the stop."
