"They need to get their nut and bolt gauge replaced apparently. Sent wife down to get a replacement bolt and sent her with the bolt I needed replaced to get a replacement and a few spares. She returns with a 10x1.5 pitch and that was too coarse. Sent wife back with wrong bolts and she stated the gentleman was defensive and insisted he gave her the right bolt and that he tried it in their gauge and it worked fine. I instructed her before she left if he argued to just ask for your money back which she did and received a refund and we will shop elsewhere. After dinner I went down to Lowes myself this time and got a 10x1.25 and it threaded on like butter. Just so you know a finer thread bolt will give you the impression it will thread onto a coarse thread nut but feel a little loose if it's vice versa (our situation) it won't go 2 threads hence why I said they need their gauge replaced obviously."
