He even went so far as having my vehicle towed to his shop to get around expensive fees associated with commercial towing. As a female lay person I especially appreciate his expertise and transparency which makes me feel my car is in trustworthy hands. In addition his pricing is very fair. "My car broke down three times in West Virginia while I was driving back from North Caroline to Pittsburgh. The last time was by Gary’s shop, after having it stuck in a transmission shop for two weeks and I was trying to finally get it back home to PA. It was at the end of a business day, but he let us have the car towed there and started doing some diagnostics on the spot. We had planned to be in the area hiking for a couple days and he was able to get a new distributor and ignition ordered and in the car quickly. He is super honest and knowledgeable about all cars and being on the road, you never know who you’re gonna end up with mechanic-wise. Gary was my West Virginia car mechanic angel and if I lived near his shop, he would be my regular guy. His price was fair and also he’s cool and fun to talk with!
