Reviews
"There seemed to be several new displays and it was just fun to drive through."
"Beautiful trail, wide graveled trail, lots of beautiful and colorful wildflowers. Benches to sit and rest"
"This is a very clean family oriented park which is beside the kanawha river. You can bring your boat, jet ski or fishing craft and enjoy a day on the beautiful Kanawha. Fishing can also be done on the banks mostly catch and release is what i see fisherman doing here. There are two shelters first come first serve where you can have parties or celebrations. The playground has been remodeled with a locked and a padded fence installed and no dogs allowed in that area. However you can walk your dog on a leash around the park on down the sidewalk path that gives the view of the river and three campsites. The bathrooms are always clean when I’m there They do a wonderful job maintaining and doing upkeep on this Park Come see for yourself if you haven’t been."
"This is a quiet place, beautiful & great for a family outing. The main trail has been redone with new bridges, benches & gravel. The only thing I noticed was that the park needed a wheelchair designated trail. That may be in the future plan."
"Lots of trails—more than you might realize unless you do some exploring. Saw a good variety of mushrooms on the longer (1.5-mile) trail in June."
