"Please read this review! I don't do reviews too much but my experience at Mid State has inspired one. We were on the highway heading home to Canada and hit a piece of metal that punctured a tire and imbedded itself into the inner fender. As I drove, the slow leak got less slow and I pulled into the travel plaza just as it began to pour rain. After getting drenched putting air in the tire, I was desperate to find a solution and there amongst all the restaurants and gas stations was Mid State Chev! I ran inside to be greeted with 'Good Morning and how can we help you?' After I explained, the gentleman at the service desk apologized that all the bays were full and it would be 1/2 hour before they could get me in (perfect!) I waited out in the car less than 15 min when a very polite 'Matt' came over in the rain and told us he was going to take care of us as quick as he could and suggested we go inside and be comfortable. Within 10 mins he came in to apologize saying that the puncture was too large to plug and that he would have to take the wheel off, strip it down and patch it from the inside but he'd be as quick as he could. Within 25 minutes Matt was back, told me I was all set and that he had topped up the washer fluid that was low! As I thanked him and was asking him where I go to pay, a gentleman from the service desk (with a full beard) came over and told me I was good to go, No Charge! Now I'm not writng this review because they didn't charge me. Fact is we were in a kind of desperate/vulnerable situation and I'm writing to say that this level of cheerful service and consideration doesn't happen in my world. At a time when they were quite busy, they were so polite, caring and accomodating. The whole experience was so refeshing that I see it as one of the highlites of our 2 week driving trip to the Eastern States and I have shared the story many times. Incredible! Thank You!"
