"Edited to add: I can not reply, only edit. This was the last weekend of December that I picked the vehicle up. This is why Google asked me to review it. She would not like me to use her name publicly but I would be glad to share with you what details I have. Should I call the shop or email? It is a Ford crossover pipe. It was diagnosed as needing the manifold replaced when the manifold doesn't even have coolant ports in it. ------------------------------------------- I don't know if I should question their ethics or their skill. I was not their customer, I only went to retrieve the disabled car for their customer. The customer called me since I was an automatic technician for years before leaving the trade. They had told her a part priced at close to $1K was bad. When she explained she didn't have the money he offered to buy it for the amount the tires would have cost. I explained to her it wasn't possible for this part to be related to her issue so I went to get it. I had an idea of what was wrong before hand so it took less than 20 minutes to find the broken part & about 20 minutes to replace the $15 part that was bad."
