"Purchased my 3rd vehicle from McClinton in November of 2022. The first two were used Silverados- zero issues until wear and tear over 200k & 130k miles. Sales and service were always great. HOWEVER- since purchasing my very first new car, a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander, I’ve been nothing but frustrated after only the first six months. If I wasn’t out 5k for the extended warranty/service plan offered by McClinton I would trade it in at a different dealership after today. Why? May-take it in for an oil change and to eval the squealing noise happening any time I turned the wheel. I was told it needs some brackets on backorder; not to worry because other than an annoyance not an issue. I was also told about 2 recalls to prevent issues with overheating and an issue with the radio display going blank. Neither of which I was having trouble with. They said they couldn’t be done that day because each update took an hour on the computer so I rescheduled for June, I understand time constraints. Mind you-I live over an hour away. June- updates were completed but the brackets were not in. 2hr wait. I drove home. When backing into my garage the backup camera on the passenger side showed a black screen on the display with a red triangle that had a red ! in the center. I called the dealership and they said one of the updates must not have worked. They can’t do Friday again until July. Why Fridays? Any other day and I have to reschedule over 20 patients that have taken time off work or school to see me. I have enough respect for them and their time that unless an emergency I don’t cancel. July- brackets were finally in as well.Yay! I wouldn’t have to make yet another two hour roundtrip and sit with my toddler again seeing as how this is my only vehicle. 3 hours later I was told the hour long update had to be run twice but everything was taken care of. The horrible squeals on turning and braking were no longer heard on the way home. Awesome! Arrive home, back up- black screen AGAIN. I call and was told they would try the update one more time. No appointments on Friday until August. Despite my intense frustration I take the August appointment and say thank you. August- Off we go again to sit two more hours only to be told that the update wasn’t working & that the radio needed replaced. It would take a couple weeks to come in and they could get me in on a Friday in September. Okey Dokey. So they can’t fix a problem that wasn’t happening until a computer download recall was done because it’s my radio? September- I sat from 9 to noon to have the radio replaced and updates done. Service guy walks in with the keys- “You’re all set!”. I put my boy in his car seat and get in. Turn on the car and because this is the 3rd time I put the car in reverse. Black screen on the right AGAIN. I get my kid out and go back in to let them know- nope, not all set. Disbelief, maybe also frustration? Take him out, start it up, reverse, black screen. “That just worked for me!”, he says. Well, not anymore. He talks to the guy that did the install and updates- let’s run it again. Another hour. He walks out with me this time. Try the camera in reverse- black screen. Back to wait another hour, still didn’t work. I was told he’d be in touch after talking to the Mitsubishi rep to figure it out. No word until October- they think it’s the camera in the right door mirror. It’s on backorder- they’ll call when it’s in. Ha. Nov comes, I call service, transferred to parts, no answer. I leave a voicemail. Five more tries over the course of November and twice in Dec- same results, no return call. Today I ask service dept please don’t transfer- no one EVER answers or calls back in parts so please wth is going on? He pulls up my account- I’m told it shows the camera was installed Dec 12. My response- the hell you say?! I have over 30 people that can say my car and I were at work that entire day. They can’t get me in to “assess the situation” until January 5th. Now I’m a liar? And the squeal? It’s back. UPDATE- have called TWICE with no return call from Scott nor Jon"

"This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Shayne Harman was fantastic! Very helpful and informative. Everyone we interacted with at McClinton was great. They were all friendly, easy going, and didn't pressure you into anything. I have already told a lot of people if they are in the market for a new car, that McClinton is where they need to go. I will definitely be returning to them for any future car purchases! I love my new Trax, thanks guys!"
