Discount Tire

"My wife took her car in to have 2 new tires put on it. They moved the back tires to the front and put the new ones on the back. The car has a locking lug on the wheels and requires a key to unlock. After rotating tires and installing the 2 new ones, they handed her 2 of them (locking nuts) and said they don't do those. So they sent her on her way with one lug on each back tire without a lug nut. They never asked her for the key or where it was. I called and asked how they got them off and I was told they have special tools to get them off. So I asked why didn't they use the same tools to put them back on. Now I am wondering if they damaged 2 of those nuts. I could be mistaken but I think there is a locking nut on each tire. If so, why did they put 2 on and not the other 2. My wife didn't know what to do. They should have asked before they did anything with the tires and certainly should have asked about the key before she left so that they could put them on. I have been to other Discount Tires with my vehicle (which has a locking nut) and they always asked me about it before starting any work. I would not recommend this particular location if they this is how they service your vehicle."

"The tire prices are good but they lost my key for my locking lugs. The returned the labor cost for the tire installation. They didn't seem too concerned. I must now drive 100 miles round trip to the nearest Lexus dealer to get a replacement key. My tire pressure monitoring system was working fine when I arrived. It is currently not working. I am sure this will be costly to get this repaired. I am very disappointed with my experience. The money I saved on tires will go to the Lexus dealer."

"Have taken my older Mazda 6 here multiple times for tires and balance / rotation service. These guys are always very prompt, very kind, and careful with your car. I've always had a great experience with short wait times when I visit here. I do recommend making an appointment ahead of time for any service so that they know to expect you, which gets you in and out quickly. Doing that has allowed me multiple times to have my tires rotated and balanced in 15 minutes."

"The customer service experience was 5 stars! By far Terrell did great! With communication and pricing ! Unfortunately the 2 star review is because of the work its self The tires ride great and look good but …….. When I got home I was looking closer I noticed my wheels were scratched pretty bad It’s not the most stunning car but it’s a 2021 and the wheels looked decent before going in Not going to push for money off or anything just disappointed honestly I guess I wont be returning for new tires At the fear of damaging my vehicle Hopefully if I need to get a tire plugged (because I got the road hazard) They don’t scratch them any worse !"
