"These people double bill, they don't answer the phone, and they do not act ethically. Double billing is illegal and fraud. Stay away from St Francis for using such an incompetent 3rd party."

"Would be a zero if I could. Billing department is inept. St. Francis must not care about the many customers who experience billing issues related to Palmetto Anesthesia. All other providers connected with my surgery processed their claims correctly, but Palmetto cannot get it right. I have called, emailed, received calls and tried to get them to correct the billing information with no success. At this point I am thinking of billing them for the many hours I have spent trying to get it right. I can't imagine how they stay in business with the cash flow issues they have to be experiencing. Sad but I will not allow them to be connected to any issues that I may encounter in the future."

"Anesthesia did fine. I got the bill after 2 weeks & it gave me 2 weeks to pay. When I called the phone # on invoice I asked exactly what the 5 charges were for. They couldn't answer. Said theyd have someone call. Never did. Called again & asked for supervisor & again no call back. They told me to call St Francis & the ph # they gave me was wrong!! So I called the correct number after googling. Left a message for Mrs Cox and no return call. Guess my next call will go to the top. I dont know why St Francis would have such horrible service! All I want is an explanation what each charge was for. I left the codes on the message so Mrs Cox could have it all ready for me. Bill came to $4170. Total of 5 charges."

"The Doctor did his job, I guess. His billing process is horrible though. I hadn't even received an Explanation of Benefits from my insurer or a bill from him before a collections agency started calling. I googled the telephone number and there are lawyers that will instantly take your case I guess because they harass people. When the official bill came it said I was 56 days past due and it was going to be sent to a collections agency. Paid it. Guy needs to get it together. Not professional at all."

"I agree this company is contracted to provide their services at St Francis Hospital. There was no choice in the matter of whom to use for my fiance's Anesthesia services. I agree with the prior review, there was no problem with the services but the billing is terrible. My fiancé had not met his insurance deductible so after filling out forms to make arrangements, his account was still sent to collections, reported on his credit, and all the while he has not received any updated or recent statements ... when the statements are requested, the collections informs usto contact Palmetto Anesthesia, whom refers us to Medac Billing whom is taking their calls & then they refer us back to the collection agency who sends me back to Palmetto and the cycle doesn't stop.. Horrible service and billing"
