"We have been going to Doc Jamison for 3ish years now. We cannot recommend her enough. I looked at her reviews today and am saddened by what is written though I understand that much time has passed and everyone has a different experience and perspective. So here’s ours: 1). Listens to parents and child. Will respond to emails, phone calls, etc. Meets with parents and child separately and together- whatever is needed. 2) provides support for both parents and child. Tools to help, sometimes homework if needed. 3) is available. Let me repeat that. She is Available to you and your child. I have never gotten a call back more than 24 hours after leaving a message. If her receptionist is out, Doc J will call herself. 4) She takes appointments after 5:00. 5) the receptionist has always been very kind and approachable. Often will banter with my kiddos while waiting for our appointment. 6) you are in a SAFE place. No judgement. No, “well that was handled poorly.” Nothing but support. Our kids are growing up in a very tough and challenging world. They have so much to overcome and I am so very thankful for Doc Jamison. She has truly been a blessing for our family."

"My young daughter had an incredibly difficult time dealing when the pandemic began in 2020 and a friend referred me to Dr. Jamison. While she was nice, she did seem a little flaky, but her receptionist was absolutely terrible. She wasn’t friendly, but my biggest issue is that she wasn’t coding the visits properly and we kept getting incredibly high bills because of it. I spoke with my insurance and was assured that if she would just go back and code the visits as video visits (which every single one of them was) then they would be completely taken care of at 100% (with us owing $0) because my insurance was doing that for video therapy during that time, but the receptionist was coding them as in-person in-office visits. I emailed and called and left voicemails and never got any responses. The bills stopped coming so I assumed they corrected the codes. A year later now, I have received a new bill saying we owe over $700 (past due) and they are all still listed as in-office visits with a handwritten red ink note saying if we have questions to call our insurance. I am so incredibly frustrated with how poorly this business (that is meant to help people) is being ran. I will be sending one more email. I will be leaving one more voicemail and then I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau because a simple coding error, something that could have been fixed so easily is still hanging over my head a year later. Absolutely unacceptable. I would not refer anyone to use this business. Ever."

"Dr. Jamison gave my 5 year old child tools to learn to express his emotions in healthier ways. She was able to recognize some of the frustrations and misunderstandings driving his behaviors. I learned so much that I am still using from our time with her 15 years ago!"
