"If i could give -5 starts I would. Dr Skinner was very unprofessional and not compassionate what so ever with my mother. My mother went in for an evaluation because she has had cancer previously and was treated before. Dr Skinner, or should be Mrs Skinner, said my mother never had cancer although my mother had been through 9 months of treatments for her cancer. Ms Skinner said she was going to continue the exam as if my mother never had cancer. She needs to be fired or be stripped of her doctorate degree. That is by far the worst doctor I ever listened to or heard of. I don't understand how a doctor that says she cares for her patients could sit there and try to tell a patient that they never had cancer. I hope this doctor is at the end of her career because this is definitely not the profession for her."
"Dr Skinner refused requested MTHFR testing on a high risk pregnancy. She also refused a late ultrasound before delivery stating patients only get one in the beginning. That’s is a crock and she knew it. I reached out to other doctors outside her clinic and they all stated they do not practice refusing testing or ultrasounds on patients that had been in and out of labor for the last three months of pregnancy. This is the process she takes when the patient is on Medicaid. I offered to pay cash for all the testing for this patient and she said “I don't do expensive tests unless it’s absolutely necessary and it won’t be covered”. She claimed this child would be no more than 7 pounds at due date. He was taken a week early at 8.7 pounds in a 5’ 100 pound disabled patient. I wrote a complaint and never heard back. She placed this baby and mother in danger and all because she did not want to risk a loss of a few hundred dollars to the clinic. It was guaranteed to be paid in advance and she still refused the services. We separated from her clinic in Lexington after another doctor safely delivered the baby."
"I’m so very thankful for Dr. Skinner. She is amazing! I’m one week today post abdominal hysterectomy and I feel great! I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an awesome Doctor!"
"Dr. Skinner is without question, the most compassionate, and caring doctor I have ever known. My daughter has a long history of medical issues. Dr. Skinner literally gave her her life back when other doctors didn't want to touch her. Thank you, Dr. Skinner !"
"Dr. Skinner performed my abdominal hysterectomy. This was my first surgery so I was extremely nervous, mainly of the unknown. I thought that I would be experiencing the worst pain of my life. Dr. Skinner prepared me for the surgery by taking the time to explain exactly what to expect and what the surgery would include. Though I felt well educated, I was still anxious due to the anticipated pain factor. Little did I know, I had nothing to fear. Dr. Skinner performed a flawless surgery. I am 2 weeks post-op and feel amazing. My highest discomfort (I can't even say pain) rating since the surgery was a 4! I experienced more of a sore feeling than pain. Anyone facing a hysterectomy is in good hands with Dr. Skinner. She came highly recommended and lived up to her reputation!!"
