"I am extremely disappointed with Bristol West!!! I had my car stolen on January 2nd, which was found on the same day, and to this day my car is parked at the mechanic waiting for the insurance to release it for concerts! Representative Tim, who is taking care of my case, went on vacation and I haven't had contact with him for 2 weeks! I work and NEED a car to get around, and simply due to insurance neglect, I have been without a car for 20 days and having to pay for car rental to be able to work!!! This insurance company is a shame, when I have to renew, I will certainly do it with any other company, and I will NEVER recommend Bristol West to anyone!!!!"

"For the FOURTH time now they have canceled our policy stating we are passed due on our policy payment. We have bank statements proving otherwise for ALL 4 times, they falsely communicate to our vehicle lender and say we are not insured when WE ARE. We have all documents to prove other wise but can never get it resolved with customer support or live agents. This has costed us thousands because the lenders then add their own insurance to our monthly auto payment. Which we cannot afford and payed by miracle, Bristol west told us previously they would send out a letter to dismiss that on our credit report and to our lender but we HAVE NOT RECEIVED THAT LETTER. We are being scammed, Bristol west continuously canceling our payment and claiming we are passed due on our MONTH TO MONTH policy when it hasn’t even been a month after the payment has been taken from my account. They Charge us to reinstate, after THEY canceled, no information is mistaken no specific reason as to why it’s canceled. We only continued to stay with them as we were moving homes but will now be going elsewhere. We are also looking into speaking with a lawyer to recover the THOUSANDS we spent over FALSE claims of “NO POLICY ON FILE” even though we have bank statements to prove we again DID MAKE ON TIME PAYMENT! They’ve even taken payment TWICE within the same month and STILL canceled. SCAM SCAM SCAM !! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET A POLCIY WITH BRISTOL WEST."

"HORRIBLE COMPANY ITS A SCAM THEY ONLY WANT YOUR BANKING ACCOUNT SO THEY CAN DOUBLE CHARGE YOU AND CALL IT AN ACCIDENT - WILL BE REPORTING TO BBB AND SUING THEM"

"Horrible customer service, cancelled my policy without telling me. I drove over a month with no insurance without knowing. Returned my last payment by mail a month later. When called got run around, transferred me to farmers for some reason then farmers transfered me back to Bristol where they hung up on me after being on phone for 45 minutes. Now currently on hold for 17 minutes as I'm writing this. I was told that my rates would go down after 6 month renewal. I was told if I made a payment it would reinstate insurance. I make the payment and it did not go down and shows that I let my policy cancel. In case you didn't know this works like your credit it shows as failure to maintain financial responsibility to all insurance providers. So now I'm dealing with that too while looking for other providers. This company is a scam. Doesn't matter if you make payments they'll find a way to steal from you. Don't trust this company. There is a reason their reviews are so low."
