"Wow. I purchased an Eccotemp tankless water heater from Home Depot. This thing didn’t even last a year. And regarding the customer services by Eccotemp, they are awful. Not sure how Google has such raving reviews for this company but when you check Home Depot, the reviews for Eccotemp are terrible. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy any products from Eccotemp. The customer service by Eccotemp is set up just to discourage you. It looks like a wonderful warranty but they won’t provide coverage for anything at all."

"I have been using an L5 since 2010, I have had to replace it several times because of leaving it up all year for North Central Florida outdoor shower. I love it in the same way I love having a wood burning fireplace, there is nothing like heat to soothe your tired muscles after working outdoors. To winterize after draining, I bundle it up with blankets and plastic tarps because our winter temps are so extreme that it could be a warm week in January when I want to use it and so do not take it down. The insects love to make nests inside, and I do have mineral laden well water so there is a lot of wear and tear and I have replaced it 4 times. The latest with the led display is just fabulous and this company should be a model for responsive and responsible customer service and pride in their products. One thing I have learned is how susceptible it is to wind and now that my trees have grown around it, to buffer breezes it it is less likely to get blown out. It is one of my most prized possessions and suits my organic lifestyle perfectly and brings me comfort and refreshment!"

"Purchased the Eccotemp Luxe 1.85 GPM from Home Depot. After using for two weeks straight I can say I am satisfied with the purchase. I like how the pearl white glistens in the light. I also really like the digital temperature gauge, it helps greatly in getting the right temperature output for the family’s different needs, as the kids prefer cooler water and the adults like warmer water. It also is nice to see in real time how ambient outdoor temperature affects output temperature. On a nice day I was able to get around 130 degree F water and on other days around 122-125 F. The unit is very efficient in terms of propane usage and water output. This is a must have, great for emergency use, general use, and just for having on demand hot water outside. I feel this was a great investment and customer support is top notch. Great product, everyone was able to have showers during a jam. Thank you Eccotemp! One last thing, I did purchase the kit that came with the 12volt pump. Didn’t not use the pump as we hooked the unit to a hose, but want to have it in case we do need to use the unit on the go. The 12 volt pump is an excellent addition to the versatility of this product.Good job Eccotemp."
