"Don't buy a Maytag... Had a 25 year old Maytag washer and Dryer. 2020 decided to replace them with new Maytag's. What a mistake!! 3 month in they had to replace the drum and several other components and have had the come out 3 additional issues. The latest issue is the lid wont lock so the machine wont start. Tech came out today and will have to replace the mother board and several other switches and will need to order parts and it will be two weeks until they come in. Good thing we bought the Extended Warranty!! Took a trip to local appliance center ( Not Lowes) and purchased new Speed Queen washer and dryer with a 7 year warranty! No need to buy an extended warranty on them."
