Five Points Shoe Repair

"Took some of my prized Luchesse boots to them for soles/heels/refresh. The last two times for my other pair, I have used the people on St. Andrews. They charged $60 dollars and did a phenomenal job. I was charged $120, upfront, for this repair. The work is nominal, the nails heads are not recessed into the heel (think of the floors I’ll be scratching!), and the toe was touched up with a color that doesn’t match. So, what do you do when you pick them up? Leave them there out of disgust? You’ve already paid. First and last dealings with these folks. Kind, timely, just shoddy work that was incredibly overpriced. I expected much more when I pay $120 for a “resole”. I know better now."
