A bit dated compared to other apts near by but it is always clean and maintenance has always been helpful and quick to fix any issues we have had! Very much recommend!"

"I enjoyed living at the Riverwood Apartments. The staff and maintenance crew are top-notch and always helpful. They work hard to make sure the apartments are kept in good shape. I had a two-bedroom apartment, and it was in excellent shape and very clean when I moved in. Though the complex has been around for a long time and is not fancy, the apartments are updated and well kept, as are the grounds. Simple amenities, a pool, and a gym are kept clean. The tennis courts are in good shape, and the green area is lovely with hammocks and a picnic bench. A nice place to walk with your dog. They supply pet waste bags at several stations around the complex, which makes it easy and comfortable to care for your pet and keep the common areas clean. No more having to buy rolls of waste bags. Simple living yet very comfortable with friendly neighbors. It's a great location with a bus stop across the street that will bring you downtown, though the drive into town is not at all bad. You can walk to several restaurants, a good coffee shop, and grocery stores. The beach is just a few minutes drives, but if you're up to it, a good walk or bike ride across the Ben Sawyer to Sullivan's Island is great. It's a lovely section of town, a walk away from Old Village. Shem Creek, with all its restaurants, entertainment, and water view is just a very short drive away and a great place to meet up with friends and family."
