Reviews of Belle Hall Apartments
"I recently relocated to the area for a new job, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for the warm welcome provided by James Wallace, my leasing agent at Belle Hall. James truly went above and beyond to make me feel at home and comfortable in my new surroundings. His professionalism and genuine care for his tenants have made my transition to the area smooth and enjoyable. His welcoming attitude and willingness to assist have truly set a positive tone for my experience at Belle Hall. If you're looking for a place that combines comfortable living with convenient access to amenities, I highly recommend checking out Belle Hall. The location is superb, and the apartment features are top-notch. Don't miss the opportunity to reserve your apartment now and experience the exceptional living offered by Belle Hall. Thank you, James, for making my move a breeze and for ensuring that Belle Hall feels like home!"
"I moved into these apartments in January, 2021 and am finally moving out at the end of November, 2023. As a member of the military I've had to move a lot and deal with a lot of apartment complexes, and I'd say that this was probably my favorite complex that I've lived in during that time. I wouldn't be leaving the apartment complex if I hadn't taken a job out of state after separating from the Navy. The location is super convenient to everything - whether you want to go towards Daniel Island, West Ashley, or Downtown... You're right by all of the major infrastructure. Additionally, you're right behind the Belle Hall shopping plaza which honestly has just about anything you could need. I never had any issues with any hidden fees or any unexpected charges - it was all pretty transparent. The leasing office and maintenance team have always been super helpful and solid anytime I needed them, they even checked on my cat for me once because I was having anxiety while I was out of state. I'm trying to think of any bad experiences I've had with the complex, and I legitimately can't think of any... Definitely recommend this complex"
"I have to say it is far from luxury living as they advertised. From poorly renovated apartments, amenities that barely work, pool closures, buildings that are missing siding, shutters and other pieces of trim. The staff in the leasing office is forever changing and you never see the same face for long. They like to stick it to you with hidden charges and lease dirty apartments that havent been cleaned in the turn over process. Although they do provide trash pick up that you have no choice but to pay for… the trash barely gets picked up on a consistent basis and the dumpsters were always overflowing. When we moved out we had the apartment rugs deep cleaned as per our lease only to be told they are not enforcing that part of the lease terms but even though we cleaned the appliances they charged us a cleaning fee. The leasing office does hold events for the community but the time frames that the events are held are when people are working or not able to make it. So the community does not get to partake in these events which was disappointing. A lot of things tend to disappear in the community like bicycles , cars or anything of value and the leasing office never acknowledges these issues. So in short renter beware of the hidden fees, lies and general poor conduct of this apartment complex!!!"
"It's hard to believe, based on the below that I do like my apartment. The natural light and floors are lovely. The area is great, with restaurants, bars, grocery store and gyms, its spectacular. However, I have moved all over the country and this has been the worst move yet. I don't know where to start.... 1. The apartment was dirty, from the vents covered in lint, to dead bugs in the window. The mold outside on the windowsill is gross. Dust covered the baseboards. I brought this to their attention and they offered to clean the apartment. However, I had already cleaned it.... 2. I was told the incorrect amount for my move-in checks. It costs money just to get cashier checks...they let me add the difference to my March rent. 3. Never provided a tour of the grounds, any apartment layouts, gym, or pool. Wasn't told, until I asked, where the trash or recycling, are, how to get into the gym or pool, or where my mailbox was. 4. Never told about the hours for the trash pickup until asked. 5. You can hear the 526 traffic very easily through the single pane windows, even when you don't face the road. 6. I have asked for several items to be fixed 3 times now, only two have been addressed. 7. Was never informed about their "basic" vs "luxury" apartments. It was a shock to me to find no washer/dryer in the unit and appliances from the 80s.... 8. My dishwasher is broken upon move-in. 9. No bike racks available. 10. Massive gap on the bathroom door. 11. I was given two front door keys, one wasn't even to my door! 12. They ask for a deposit for a fob to the amenities. Never told this and had to ask. Why would I pay a deposit? Charge me if I lose it!! Oh, and it didnt work when provided to me. 13. The attitude of the assistant manager is terrible."
"My husband and I have lived in these apartments for over two years now and we love it here! We just bought a house and we are sad that we are going to have to leave, because of how much we have enjoyed living here. The office staff are so sweet and friendly and always willing to work with you. There are always fun events that the apartment is doing and it is very family friendly. The apartment is a little bit outdated, but I honestly think it's really cute. I have never had any issues with bugs or loud neighbors - which was a big concern for me before we moved in. It's actually very quiet here, I barely ever hear my neighbors. Sometimes the maintenance can be slow, but they do have a lot of apartments they are servicing and they make sure to make you a priority. Besides the actual apartment, the location is PERFECT. You are 15 minutes from the beach, three minutes from the highway, right next to a bunch of shops, gyms, restaurants and a grocery store in the Belle Hall plaza! Town Center is only 10 minutes away and Seacoast is right behind us! Thank you to all of the amazing staff who make living here so enjoyable!"
