"Terrible experience with Parker Point/Cainhoy Point. They switched Management 3 times in one year and all three times, they were no help. Our apartment flooded and they didn’t offer any help. There is a serious lack of communication within management. Trash and dog poop everywhere. We got out as soon as we could and we would highly recommend not moving there."
"I moved to Parker Point back in October 2022 because I needed to find an apartment fast and within my budget, and unfortunately I wish I would have paid a little more and went somewhere else. The lack of communication at this apartment is unacceptable and needs improvement. First red flag, when I called to get a tour they said that they aren't doing tours.. interesting. The manager at the time sent me a video of the unit and I drove through the community before committing to this apartment. I was in a tight time frame and it seemed nice so I signed the lease. I got my keys on a Friday morning and planned to move in Saturday. When I went into the apartment, the smoke alarm was beeping due to low batteries. I told the manager and she said she would get maintenance in to replace the batteries asap. When I arrived the next day, it wasn't fixed and was beeping all day. I didn't have batteries so I had to take time out of a super busy moving day just to replace the batteries myself. Thankfully I had bar stools so that I could reach it. The kitchen sink and oven were dirty when I first went into the apartment, so I'm not sure if they do a thorough cleaning before move-in. Oh, and while I was moving in, there was dog vomit in the middle of the hallway that a resident refused to clean up after their dog. Not a good first impression. Nobody ever cleaned it up and eventually went away from people stepping in it over the course of a few days. The residents also don't like to clean up after their dog's around the community - so watch where you walk. I've had packages stolen from the package room, residents are always outside smoking, and kids playing in the street. The final straw is that almost a week ago (5/11), I found black mold growing in the laundry room next to the hot water heater. It appears that there is a leak which is causing the mold. I immediately put in a maintenance request and emailed the Office Manager and Assistant Manager. No response. Called the next day, and no one answered so I left a voicemail. Maintenance has yet come out to look at the mold and it is getting worse. Myself and my pets will get sick if this is not taken care of immediately. I contacted VTT Management as well and cannot get ahold of anyone. They have the time to email all residents about the office closing early, but they can't even reply back to my email or call me. While Parker Point looks great on the outside and on the website, I highly encourage you to look elsewhere. I hate to complain, but something needs to be done."
