"THIS PLACE IS FILTHY! There are constantly problems with roaches and flies and the neighbors are very noisy and it’s just disgusting!"
"I’ve provided services to a couple tenants at this complex who live in separate buildings. For 5 days (last week), I spent 30-60 mins inside a unit near the back of the property. By day 2 I was experiencing respiratory symptoms. On day 3 I noticed black mold growing in and on the air vents and walls of the unit. A couple days after my duties were fulfilled at this unit my respiratory symptoms subsided. I do have mold allergies. I advised my client of this. I can’t imagine living on a property with such an extensive history of mold and roach infestations."
"Affordable rent but management is so unprofessional. They will enter your apartment with no notice and then when you question them they become demanding. They will not renew your lease just because their upset and will not give you a reason why. You can pay your rent on time for almost 5 years and it still don’t matter. Management will tell you certain breeds of dogs are not allowed but I see them and had a incident with a breed that was not allowed. They change management a lot throughout the years. When we moved out we found out we had a major mold issue. They will tell you that you might have a small mold issue in the lease. Nothing small about the mold issue black mold in the bathroom and in the closet and round the windows in the bedrooms. The master room closet was the worst. I had to trash a log of clothes and spend a lot of money washing the rest and cleaning everything that was in that room because of the smell. We saw a rat in out apartment they did nothing about. They sent the maintenance man out and all he did was take pictures. Another maintenance man told us it’s a new issues that their having. The heating and A/C was another joke we did get a new unit for the a/c but they didn’t ups the thermostat or the heater. The HVAC repair guy told us that the heater was shot as well. Our light bill use to be so high. Didn’t realize it until I moved into my new mold free and HVAC working properly apartment. My light bill is so much cheaper. If you have to move here to afford the rent then do what you have to do but make sure you take pictures of everything and document everything that happens. Make sure to lock your cars lots of vehicles break in. If you can get a door bell camera. That will help you a lot and you will see management entering your home without notice and be able to save the footage. When you move out definitely take pictures. They will try to charge you for normal wear and tear like the blind breaking from the heat. I can’t stop that from happening especially where our apartment was located. Over the years the complex has gotten worst. Looks better in the outside but worst. I am happy that they didn’t renew our lease yes I have to pay more in rent but it is so worth it. This was my first experience renting an apartment long term and it was an experience. Oh they have their people pick so some can do what others can’t do in the neighborhood.Roaches just be ready to treat them yourself we spent a lot of money getting rid of roaches and our dishwasher never worked reported it several times but they came out and did the same thing so we said forget it."
"Summary: Fair starter apartment. They need to change pest control companies and have apartments ready for showings when listed as available. Pros 1. I felt safe here. We have police officers that live here. No real crime. there has been little reports of items in people's cars going missing but it was because they didn't lock their doors/ take proper precautions. 2. Neighbors were extremely nice and welcoming. 3. Management implemented I want to say 48 hours or 72 hrs response when it comes to responding to maintenance issues. They have improved their response time when it comes to issues. 4. Maintenance is friendly. The front desk woman, I think her name is Kimberly is very nice, professional and welcoming. 5. Pet friendly. 6. They send out emails to our little community about different changes, reminders etc 7. Landscaping/ Maintenance do their best to keep the grounds clean but it's really up to the residents to clean up after themselves. I have seen lots of residents throw their trash where it doesn't belong, failing to pick up after their pet, kids dropping food outside etc 8. It is rare when someone doesn't answer the phone and they do return phone calls which I like. Cons 1. In the 20 mins I spent on the initial walk through in the apartment, the light fixture in the kitchen fell... and almost fell on me. I went to the office and was told maintenance won't come until Monday (it was a Saturday) because it wasn't considered an emergency. So I couldn't use my kitchen. 2. My apartment was infested with roaches. I didn't know this until my 1st night. I didn't see any signs of an infestation during the daylight. However, once I started treating my apartment, whoever was in there before me I could tell treated it for roaches. 3. Maintenance came and fixed the light fixture that Monday and took accountability that it was incorrectly installed by a new employee. I was also told they would treat the infestation. 4. The roaches in my apartment didn't seem to respond to their pest control treatment. Other tenants have confirmed this for their buildings/apartments. However, pest control did come every week for a month. Ultimately, my neighbor and I worked together on our apartments to rid the issue ourselves with the products we bought. Took 4 months for me to completely rid the infestation in my apartment. 5. I have a personal pet peeve of both being able to see exactly which apartment I will be moving into. I also understand why some places don't allow this but don't list an apartment as available if it is not immediately ready for showing."
