"Update 4, Feb/24: Spoke with Tanner, she has made me feel heard in this case. I really appreciate all her hard work! Update 3, Jan/24: Things have gotten worse, the office now essentially refuses to handle noise complaints instead telling people to just call the police, the grounds have never looked more disgusting with animal waste, you can essentially never get ahold of the office even during their office hours they seemingly keep their phones off and leaving a message only results in about a 25% chance that they'll even get in touch. All in all, starting to really regret renewing our lease and would in fact currently NOT RECOMMEND Harper's Place to friend or family. These issues are solvable, but the office staff has proven extremely reticent to actually enforce the lease terms here due to what seems to be a fear of confrontation. Update 2: The changes have been made and look great. Our exteriors were cleaned wonderfully, abandoned bikes have been removed and more. Very happy with how well Sarah handled it and how rapid progress was! They really earned this 5 star review. Thanks again Sarah, maintenance and the rest of the Harper staff! Update: changes are being made. I'm happy with what I was told. This was originally a 2 star review and will increase to 5 when the agreed upon changes are made. Original Review: You'd think almost 20k a year in rent and fees would be enough for them to run a power washer on the exterior and stairwells at least once a year or make sure trash is actually picked up as agreed upon. Seems like every penny is spent on the clubhouse while the buildings the tenants occupy languish with cobwebs, wasp nests and abandoned bicycles. We get lots of excuses from the operators as to why things happen but very few solutions beyond "just wait" or "do it yourself this time" and even then we continue to run into the same issues over and over."
"Really love this community. The office staff was beyond amazing and thorough with my tour explaining everything the community offers. The location is perfect and in walking distance of my main necessities. The apartments were bright and spacious. This will be my #1 option when leaving my current home!"
"This is an amazing complex to live in. They have tons of amenities like a dog park, gym and pool which are always very clean. The employees here are very kind and compassionate and do their best to accommodate everyone's needs. The office hosts events such as movie nights occasionally for the residents and the employees are always so polite to everyone. Also, I like the fact that Walmart is within walking distance of my apartment."
"We are so pleased with Harper Place and the excellent service we’ve received! Tanner showed us the complex and then continued to answer questions, send pictures of the available apartments and provide support for us, since we lived in Florida prior to moving! Alisha, the manager, also found an error on the initial move in invoice and quickly credited our account. We’ve lived here for a month and enjoy the complex, the quick maintenance service by Chris H., and continued great service from Tanner and the office staff!"
"Been here over a month and I will say the staff here is great. Apartment living can be tough with neighbors, noise and maintenance. They do a great job here of managing all that. Office staff - Tanner & Sarah are great at handling complaints and issues that occur. Very responsive, they care and understand . Thank you guys for helping with everything. Maintenance- Chris H & Chris S are awesome very quick to respond with requests. And both super friendly. Grounds overall well maintained. Thanks again to the staff- Makes apt living easier when you know it's being managed well."
